Hollie M. Lund Ph.D.
Dr. Lund can draw from over ten years of experience with land use planning and transportation policy when assisting clients in the complex areas of land use and zoning, government participation, public infrastructure, eminent domain, and property law. Dr. Lund’s background enables her to approach legal issues from a practical and comprehensive perspective, while her extensive research experience helps her identify and analyze the best possible solutions. Dr. Lund is intimately familiar with comprehensive plans and growth policies, zoning and subdivision regulations, and local public participation processes. She understands not only how they work, but how they are intended to work. Dr. Lund joined the firm in August 2011 and has focused her practice on representing private landowners, municipalities, local organizations and others in the wide (and growing) range of land use and related natural resource issues facing communities throughout Montana.
Dr. Lund has spent the majority of her life in Washington and Oregon but has always been drawn to Montana and is excited to now call it home. She is an active member of the Helena community and—as a trail runner, hiker and backpacker—enjoys spending her free time exploring Montana’s mountains.
