Mark Thieszen has litigated a wide variety of cases in Montana state and federal courts.  His practice is focused on civil litigation, primarily in the practice areas described below.    

After graduating from the University of Colorado School of Law in 2008, he clerked for Justice Jim Rice at the Montana Supreme Court. Following his clerkship, he was employed as a deputy county attorney for the Butte-Silver Bow County Attorney’s Office, prosecuting all levels of crime, from investigation through trial. In 2013, he joined the law firm of Poore, Roth & Robinson, P.C. as an associate, using his trial and appellate experience in his litigation practice to take matters from inception through bench or jury trial and appeal. 

Mark loves experiencing and exploring the great Montana outdoors with his family.  He also enjoys coaching youth sports and has served on the board of a local non-profit organization.  He is a past board member of the Montana Defense Trial Lawyers Association.
