Rachel A. Kinkie
Law Practice
Rachel Kinkie joined the firm as an associate attorney in 2010, previously working for the Montana Stockgrowers Association as a natural resources legal intern and completing her clinical requirement with the United States Department of Agriculture’s Office of General Counsel. Ms. Kinkie’s practice focuses on natural resources, agriculture, property rights, and water rights adjudication and permitting. She appears before both state and federal administrative agencies on regulatory matters, as well as state and federal courts. Ms. Kinkie also lobbies Montana state government for agricultural and private business interests on matters of fish and wildlife management and livestock disease regulation.
Born and raised on a cattle ranch in Paradise Valley, Montana, Ms. Kinkie draws from her practical experience to assist agricultural and rural communities in navigating modern legal and regulatory challenges. She continues to work on the family ranch in her spare time and enjoys hiking and quilting.
